Keri Durkin leads the Franchise Division for the furniture leader in the Midwest and is based in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to making Detroit her home, she was the SVP of Operations for the retail division of a furniture company based in Tampa . Keri started volunteering for Wish Upon A Wedding in 2012 as a member of the Chicago Chapter serving as the Fundraising Chair. With her move to Tampa she took on the role of National Fundraising Chair in 2015 transitioning to her current role as National President. In addition to donating her time to Wish Upon a Wedding, she volunteers for the Stephen Siller Foundation and Tunnels2Towers. She tries to make volunteering a family affair as her three daughters can be found volunteering at the WUW Chicago Gala and enjoying the opportunity to serve others.
Sarah Glick-Romashko, Vice President
Sarah is the co-owner of Brilliant Event Planning, an event planning and design studio with offices in New York City and Boston. Currently, she's the lead planner and designer in the Boston office, but she travels often for her destination clients. Before coming to the National board, Sarah was the President of the New York Chapter of Wish Upon a wedding and prior to that, the Secretary of the New York Chapter. She's known for her penchant for organizing, love of efficiency, and for giving the utmost attention to even the smallest details.
Jordan Kahn, Treasurer
After being raised on the great popular music of the last century, Berklee College of Music graduate Jordan Kahn and his party orchestra of 11 to 40+ performers have a reputation for dance-floor-filling musical performances that will bring you across all genres. At a recent Engage summit, Jordan saw the Wish Upon A Wedding message, and was captured by the mission. He says, “Making the world a better place has always been a mission of mine ever since my very first “mitzvah” project when I was younger. It’s an honor to be amongst other wedding industry elite for the benefit of such an important cause….bringing joy, hope, and love to people who need it most."
Nicole Fauls Maitland, Social Media Director
Nicole Fauls Maitland is the Owner and Lead Planner for Urban Allure Events in Chicago, IL. Nicole has always loved planning and attending events and fell in love with Wish Upon a Wedding while attending their Chicago Gala in 2016. In addition to being the Social Media Director for Wish Upon a Wedding, Nicole also serves as the Social Media Chair for the National Association of Catering and Events in the local Chicago chapter. She obviously loves all things social! In her spare time you can find her trying new restaurants, playing volleyball, or relaxing at home with her husband and two dogs.
Brian Leahy, Brand Director
Brian Leahy is a different kind of photographer. A laid-back California guy with a passion for people and travel, Brian uses his camera as a tool to communicate with his clients. His outgoing nature, relaxed style, and knack for capturing candid moments has made him one of the most sought-after photographers in California, for local events and destination weddings around the world. For Brian, photography is more than just the end result, it's about the experience too.
Passionate about speaking and branding, Brian loves to utilize his natural networking skills to cultivate his community while helping others to enhance their brand and build a successful business. Because of his sought after techniques, Wish Upon a Wedding welcomes him into their new role as Brand Director.
Brooke Palmer Kuhl, PR Director
Brooke Palmer Kuhl is a seasoned event and public relations professional with over 15 years experience in the industry. Brooke specializes in hospitality and lifestyle PR, Non-profit, high-end weddings, and celebrity based events. Attention to detail and focus, are her primary strengths. Born and raised in Washington, DC, this happy-go-lucky femme fatale has committed the last several years pursuing philanthropic endeavors with all sorts of charitable organizations including The Arts Center, the 13 Ugly Men, the Tampa Theatre and as the scene columnist for Tampa Bay Metro Magazine, after stints with TBT* and Bay News 9. As President of RSBP Events+PR, Brooke Palmer Kuhl handles high profile clients, premier weddings, and foundation events for professional athletes and celebrities including Ryan Nece, Vincent Lecavalier and the like. Past clients include FHM, Stuff, Heineken, Diddy, and Ciroc Vodka. Her additional interests include her dogs, traveling, horseback riding, good books, golfing and Orangetheory Fitness. Married to her soulmate, Craig, they share 2 rescue pitbulls, and a husky. She remains active through her volunteer work, equestrian and golf lessons, lacrosse, the occasional good bottle of champagne, teaching herself French, and being 'crafty'-- all while trying to save the world from its perils... or its event mishaps.
Alyssa Todtman, Events Director
Alyssa is a senior member of the Event Team for a major consulting firm. Although she is based out of New York, her work often has her traveling all over the country. With 10 years in the business focusing on high-end events, Alyssa has an extensive knowledge of food and wine. She is extremely organized, professional, and savvy. Her sunny disposition and positive attitude have her clients referring to her as a "ray of sunshine."
Kasey Conyers, Director
Kasey Kobel-Conyers is the owner and principal designer of Bliss Wedding and Event Design. Kasey has worked for some really fantastic companies before launching Bliss in 2006. Her time working for Walt Disney World Co. in Orlando, Florida was one of her favorites. She began her event planning career in 2000 working for AmeriCheer and AmeriDance, coordinating cheer and dance championships across the nation. She also spent several years working for EXPRESS, producing luxury events and leadership meetings for the fashion forward brand. Now she combines her talents as the Wish Coordinator for Wish Upon a Wedding, helping to turn people’s wedding wishes into reality.
Scott Barczewski, Director
Scott Barczewski is a sales team lead for the financial software firm Intralinks in New York, NY. He is passionate about helping others and bringing people together. In addition to working for Intralinks, Scott also serves on the junior board of the New York Cares foundation. He has served as an advisor and board member for multiple start-up and growth stage companies in a strategic capacity. Scott grew up outside of Boston, MA and has a love for traveling, food and sports.
