A Port St. Lucie Love Story

On June 27, 2022, Amy and Bryan will stand before their loved ones to renew their vows and to pay honor to a love story that has stood firm in the face of overwhelming sickness and struggle.

Bryan and Amy first met when he was in college and Amy was still in high school. They became friends but did not start dating until years later. Amy had become a high stakes poker dealer and Bryan started attending her events. As time went on and their friendship deepened, he began to develop intense feelings for her. One evening, Amy came over to hang out and ended up telling Bryan that she had feelings for him. He threw his arms in air and celebrated. They started dating, were engaged a short time later and married in 2015.

For years, Bryan has struggled with heartburn. He’s tried to control it but overtime, it intensified. In March of 2021, he started vomiting up blood. He went to the ER and underwent a series of tests. The results were devastating. He had been diagnosed with an advanced form of esophageal cancer that had spread to his lymph nodes and liver.

Bryan immediately began an aggressive treatment plan, traveling back and forth to Houston to see his specialist. Unfortunately, his condition has advanced, and he is fighting desperately for his sweet family.

We fell for this couple the minute we met them and are honored to help them renew their vows. We brought on an incredible planner in our new friend, Gabriella Sault of a Touch of Sault, and are thrilled with the outstanding team that she has assembled.
