An LA Love Story
On November 10, 2022, Anastasia and Barbara will stand before loved ones to renew their vows and to have the wedding that they have been dreaming about for the past 5 years.
Anastasia and Barbara first met through mutual friends in 2014. As time went on, they kept bumping into each other at social gatherings and soon became friends. After Barbara went through a tough breakup, Anastasia reached out to console her. They started spending more time together and soon became very close. Before long, they fell in love and decided to marry. They exchanged vows at a Beverly Hills courthouse in front of a couple of friends and set off on their new married life together.
In June of 2020, right as the pandemic was in full swing, Anastasia began having some concerning issues with her breast. She underwent a series of tests and was sadly diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. She underwent a mastectomy and was hopeful for a full recovery.
A few months later, however, she started experiencing pain in her hip. As the pain progressed, Anastasia sought the advice of a new medical team. After numerous scans and tests, she was told that her cancer had metastasized to her bones and liver. She is actively receiving radiation and immunotherapy and is trying to remain hopeful despite intense pain and severe fatigue.
We have loved meeting these sweet ladies and are thrilled to help them renew their vows. We joined forces with our new friend Francesca Mueller of Cross Street Events and are excited to see the beautiful day that she has planned for our brides.
Francesca recruited an amazingly talented crew of wish granters who we are oh so thankful for.
